Leal due diligence is the one of the most time-consuming process. Botman team had a complicated task: to speed up a due diligence process in the company without losing a quality of this due diligence. There was a decision made to exclude routine operations from lawyers' work. Such operations not only time consuming but also annoy lawyers. But how to solve this problem? We made an expert system which extracts data from different pdf and Excel documents and place this data to a new legal opinion. Lawyers does not need to copypaste or retype this data. We created a database which includes texts of all legal risks. After that we programmed expert system to add these risks into legal opinions in dependence on how lawyers answer the questions asked by expert system. Lawyers only have to answer the questions and the expert system makes all other work automatically. It drafts legal opinion including describing of risks, lists of documents which were presented and which are to be presented.
