The Botman.one team provided a platform for the hackathon to the Baltic Federal University named after Kant.

On August 23, after a four-day educational intensive, the participants of the hackathon "LegalTech: Countering information and ideological threats and forming an active civic position" were engaged in the direct creation of technological products in the field of anti-terrorist prevention and public security from early morning until late evening.

Botman.one platform, which acted as a technical partner of the project, allowed the participants of the hackathon to implement ambitious ideas and IT solutions in a practical plane.

The final presentation of the projects was approached by six teams, which included participants from more than ten regions of Russia.

Despite the tight time frame, each team presented both the concept of their project with an explanation of the goals, objectives and points of possible growth, and the functional model of the created product.

The following decisions were submitted to the jury:

Digital assistant "Bot115" for small and medium-sized businesses providing consulting services in the context of compliance with the requirements of the Federal Law "On Countering the legalization (Laundering) of proceeds from Crime and the financing of Terrorism."

The ProfTer project, which is an educational chatbot on issues related to countering the ideology of terrorism and extremism. The developers indicated that their goal was to increase the level of civil legal awareness of young people, as well as to demonstrate that the study of the legislative framework can be put into an interactive and semi-playful form (the most popular among the younger generation).

The teams "Team No. 1" and "Risechery AI" presented chatbots dedicated to a very topical problem: the recruitment of individuals into illegal extremist formations and the involvement of minors in illegal activities.

Team No. 1 focused more on an advisory product for two target audiences: parents and minors. In turn, the members of the team "Risechery AI" have developed a simulator that simulates algorithms for manipulative influence, which, of course, can become an interesting platform for narrowly focused psychological research.

The team "I/we are not extremists" presented the concept of an entire online platform with the working name "Extremlegalproject". The project contains sections: "teacher" — educational content on topical issues in the field of countering terrorism and extremism; "consultant" — legal advice on basic issues in the field of anti—terrorist legislation of the Russian Federation; "constructor" - an algorithm for the formation of documents for the interaction of citizens with public authorities; "expert" — analysis of text materials for the presence of illegal extremist content in them.

The Pericles team presented a socially-oriented IT product aimed at optimizing the process of obtaining social guarantees for persons affected by terrorist acts. The team developed a constructor for drawing up legally significant documents (statements), which could be used by citizens who do not have special legal knowledge to apply to public authorities for social guarantees.
